Pay attention: We will stay only one night in the desert at Merzouga, and will stay one night longer at the beach of Essaouira in the months of July and August.

South Morocco
  • • Marrakech The principal capital of the south home to sultan’s tombs, ancient palaces and Koranic schools. Experience Marrakech’s snake-charmers, acrobats, storytellers, medina’s, markets and a steamy hammam. «
  • • Todra Gorge Explore Morocco’s deepest river canyon, the Todra Gorge. Take a hike to the palm-strewn valley or simply sit on a terrace and enjoy the scenery. The trip then continues to Ouarzazate, where you can pay a visit to Kasbah Taourirt, the birthplace of the last Pasha of Marrakech. «
  • • Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou Head for the kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou and cross the High Atlas Mountains with their snow-covered summits and deep river valleys. Visit remote villages and experience the community spirit at one of their weekly markets. «
  • • Taroudant Travel through splendid volcanic scenery to Taroudant, a charming walled city alive with medieval-like street-life. On the following day you will be able to explore Taroudant’s small alleys, buy some unusual ethnic souvenirs, and visit a tea-house. «
  • • Through the Drâa Valley Travel through the Drâa Valley and the stunning desert landscape to Erg Chebbi on the edge of the Sahara. Explore on foot or on a camel and enjoy the endless sea of sand and spectacular sunrises and sunsets. «
  • • Walk on the beach After a drive through the lush green argana forests you’ll see Essaouira, a friendly coastal town on the Atlantic Ocean. There you’ll be able to simply loll on a terrace, explore the ancient alleys or go for a long walk on the beach. «
