India & Nepal with Trekking

Nepalese tea houses and the Golden triangle

This marvellous trip combines the rich history, remarkable architecture and cultural heritage of 3 of North Indias most prominent crowd-pleasers together with the natural beauty, stunning scenery and the opportunity to do some relatively easy but thoroughly rewarding trekking in Nepal. Delhi typically marries old with new, Jaipurs' old walled city is fascinating to look around and the breathtaking majesty of the Taj Mahal requires no explanation. Track down the Indian rhino aboard an elephant in Chitwan, meet the Gurung people high in the hills above Pokhara and lose yourself amongst the historical buildings in the Kathmandu valley.
India & Nepal with Trekking
  • • Delhi Explore this vibrant capital city, with its busy markets, stately government buildings and tropical parks. Don't miss the Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. «
  • • Chitwan Located at the foot of the Himalayas, Chitwan National Park, Nepals first, is the perfect place to take a break. We recommend a walking safari or riding an elephant to track down the Indian rhino! «
  • • Think pink The pink city of Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan state and has a magical medieval atmosphere. Visit the Jantar Mantar Observatory that despite being built in the 1700's still has quite a futuristic look! «
  • • Village trekking Our easy trek from Pokhara takes us to some local ethnic villages where we ll meet some interesting people and have some special views of the Annapurna range. «
  • • Taj Mahal This imposing structure, built as a grand testament of love is one of the worlds' most treasured possessions. «
  • • Kathmandu valley The Durbar Squares of Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur represent brilliantly the rich culture of the region with an array of beautiful stupas and temples. «
