  • • The ‘blue city’ Jodhpur Explore Jodhpur and tour the enormous Mehrangarh Fort. The next day visit Udaipur via the impressive Jain Temple of Ranakhpur. «
  • • Holy rats! We visit Nawalgarh in Shekawati, an area known for houses painted with frescos before moving onto Bikaner, a desert city with a magnificent historic town centre. There you are free to visit a temple where holy rats crawl all over your feet! «
  • • The ‘pink city’ Jaipur A place of Hindu pilgrimage, we stay in the desert town of Pushkar before moving on to Jaipur, the ‘pink city’ and capital of Rajasthan. You’ll also visit the nearby Amber Fort, which you can enter on the back of an elephant like a true maharaja! «
  • • Medieval street life Visit Jaisalmer, a fortified trading town with enchantingly crafted haveli's, Jain temples and an intriguing medieval street life. You can take a trip by Jeep to the Sam sand dunes. «
  • • City of the Taj Mahal & The holiest city in India We’ll visit Fatehpur Sikri a relic of the British before reaching Agra, home of the Taj Mahal, the gigantic Red Fort and colourful crowded bazaars. After a journey on the night train arrive in Varanasi, the holiest city in India. Observe the incredible spectacle of thousands of people praying and bathing in the river Ganges and take a boat trip through one of the oldest cities in the world. «
